Service Options

Veterans and Pensioners - Those holding DVA and Pension cards are entitled to FREE hearing services. As a Government accredited Hearing Service provider we offer the services from the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. This is done by simply completing an Application form which we will assist you with.

Seniors Card holders and Self Funded Retirees - As independent providers we are able to offer the best possible technology from many different manufacturers. This means the best pricing for the most suitable technology for every client!

Private Health Cover - Anyone who has extras on their Private Health care cover may gain some monetary support from your health fund. It will differ from client to client and fund to fund. We recommend that you make contact with the Customer service area of your health fund to establish the contribution they will make to your need. Think Hearing will provide an invoice/receipt on payment for the device(s) to enable to make your claim.

Workplace hearing loss - If you have or are still working in a noisy environment it is possible that you may have an entitlement to high quality hearing technology and in certain cases renumeration also. Through our wide and varied experience working with those from various hearing loss backgrounds we would usually be able to identify at the initial evaluation of any entitlement you may have. Our experience covers Victorian as well as Commonwealth work environments. We will be able to assist you through all stages of the claiming and fitting process.

Still working - Most people are unaware that if they have a hearing loss and are working in a career that requires quite specifically the need to be able to hear well to perform your role (eg working as teacher and struggle to hear children in a class room situation) that you are most likely able to make a claim on your Individual Annual Income Tax Return. This in addition with our competitive pricing reduces the financial impact for you to be fitted with those beneficial devices.
